We wanted to share with our loyal customers and friends that we are retiring as owners of Lido Village Books, effective today – although the planning has been in the works for several months.

We are also happy to announce that Lido Village Books will continue on in the capable hands of its new owner, Michelle Pierce, an avid reader and experienced business owner.

We thank you all for your wonderful support of our small indie bookstore. We value the associations, friendships, and memories made during these nearly 19 years. We’ll carry them with us.

We also hope that you will continue to support Lido Village Books and its new owner, especially in these difficult times for all of us, but potentially devastating times for small businesses. Online ordering should be ready by the end of the week.

This is not goodbye – you may see us at many of the events and happenings at Lido Village Books when they start up again. In lieu of a retirement party, we ask that you read more books!
